Biography
Dr. Angela Ross is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, with a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saint Francis, United States (U.S.). , She completed her psychology doctoral internship and postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology at the Gulf Coast Veterans Affairs (VA) System in the U.S., specializing in traumatic brain injury, age-related cognitive impairments, developmental cognitive differences, chronic pain, and trauma. Dr. Ross has a particular focus on the evaluation of children, building on her valuable experience at The Glenwood Autism Center in the U.S.
Dr. Ross has extensive clinical practice in individual and group therapy, psychoeducation, and comprehensive testing and assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked across diverse settings, including large multidisciplinary clinics, community mental health clinics, academic institutions, and private practice.
Recognized for her compassionate, professional, and person-centered approach to therapy, Dr. Ross is deeply committed to assisting individuals in achieving their goals and enhancing their overall quality of life. Grounded in a foundation of Mindful, Existential, and Positive Psychology, her therapeutic focus is on recognizing individual strengths, building resilience, and capitalizing on the benefits of individual differences.
In her practice, Dr. Ross offers specialized services for both children and adults. For children, she provides complete testing and assessment for Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities/Differences, along with individual and small group therapy addressing various challenges such as anxiety, OCD, depression, social issues, self-esteem, and coping with ADHD and learning differences. Additionally, she offers education and support for parents.
For adults, Dr. Ross conducts screening for memory and cognitive decline, complete testing and assessment for memory and cognitive issues, and assessments for adult ADHD and learning differences. Her individual and group therapy sessions for adults cover a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorders, chronic pain, grief, complicated grief, and situational distress and life stressors.
For the past few years, Dr. Ross has enjoyed providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment services for both local and expat communities in Kuwait and Egypt.
